Comments: This is my first model 18L dagger. It uses mosaic damascus for the blade and the handle cover plates, which sit on 15n20 liners. The liners have been mirror polished and heat colored gold. The blade and cover plates have also been mirror polished and are heat colored to a deep dark blue and purple, with the blade getting progressivly lighter towards the tip. On top of the cove plates I have placed meteorite front and rear bolsters which have been heat colored to a bronze tint. The center scales are mother of pearl. The back bar and liners have been extensively file worked. Finally I added 44 gold beads, made from over 2 feet of 24 karat gold wire, which sit on top of the mosaic cover plates. Finally the blade is finished off with a saphire thumb stud in a gold setting.
